I produced a video advert

I researched different short videos (wasp) and different camera shots ( long shot, mid shot , close up shot , tilt shot) i found this helped because it helped me make my choices  on what camera shots I need.

I have learnt skills like learning how to use different camera shots and how to use different settings in the camera and how to use the white balance and how to use the microphone and how to edit videos and how to add effects to them.

 i like the overall outcome i like how we have done an old vintage film look i feel it looks like an advert  i feel that all of my group have contributed well

Print advert evaluation

I produced an advert for a magazine
The research I have done was researching  the different layouts that I could use to design my advert I found that it helped me a lot  it helped me chose what layout that I found would look better. 

I have learnt how to use the camera and what the dial is for and the different settings and how to use different rules in photography. I have also learnt how to use Photoshop and learnt how to use different tools like the crop tool and the magic tool.

I feel my final piece is good although the things that I would change is use more Photoshop skills and take more photographs and incorporate them in to the final piece. 

In my opinion I like the Photoshop editing the best and learning new skills in Photoshop. The reason I like the Photoshop editing the best because it is the profession that I would consider going in and it kind of relates to my dream job of becoming a graphics artist.

While we where filming I helped set up the camera and taught April how to take curtain camera shots
I also helped setup the tripod
I learnt how to set up a tripod and how to use a red head I also learnt how to use different camera shots that i did not know about
 I lent how to set up a microphone to the camera

Notes on Editing

what i have learnt if you use the mark in and mark out tool you can shorten the video to your liking or just cut out the bed bits of the video that you don't like ad then after you can drag it into  video line 1 if you drag the end of the video you can make it longer or smaller

i chose this one because i like the theme that i gave it and because it fits well with our theme

i like the outcome  of my montage but if i had to change it i wound change the color and add effects to it

I am planning to create an news paper advert.
The product that I am using is the chocolate bar that I have created for my video advert. I think this will be convenient because it will tie the video advert and the paper advert together. We chose this because a lot of people like chocolate. 
Our target market is for the audience is of 12 year old and over and for people who like horror stuff.

The advert is going to show our chocolate bar there will be text that will say our slogan "No More Monsters".
The background will be a brick wall with monsters creeping out.
the name of our chocolate bar is called Monsters.

To take the photo of our chocolate bar we will use a camera, a tripod and a red head light as our light source and a white back drop. 
To take this photo I think it will take 1-3 minutes 

I will be producing this on Photoshop 
by using an image of the chocolate bar. 
The tools that I will be using will be magic tool,shape tool and filters and horizontal type tool.

 I crated this in photo shop I made it look real by adding  a bar code and ingredients and food traffic light and nutritious facts. I used a lot of layers and I used cartoon monsters for my design because our name and slogan has the word monsters in it and it goes well with our advertisement plan. I used color overlay and

These are the fonts that our team have chosen.
We chose these fonts because they fit into our horror theme that we are going with they fit in with the horror theme because they are bold and Halloween themed.
I have used dafont.com website to obtain the lettering. I have used the snipping tool software to copy them and save them.

We have all chose the third text because it is bold and has a shadow.

I like number one text because it has cobwebs and it is bold lettering.
I like number two text because it is all swirly just like a vine.
I like the third one the best because it reminds me of a comic and that it has a shadow .
I like number four because it has patterns within the lettering and it is bubble writing.
I like the last one because it is like it has got scars and tears in the lettering and reminds me of high school american writing.

i have played around with the chosen text i have added satin and color overlay to make it looks like something or someone is hovering over the text

all the class went to the library for a tour the library staff showed us where the DVDs shelf is and where to find books on different subjects we had to find a book that interest us and that we have not red yet they have improved the library since last year there is new software and scanners

Our Advert proposal 

For our advert we are going to sell a chocolate bar called Monsters and we chose this because a lot of people like chocolate. 
Our idea is about a monster chasing a woman down some spiral stairs and is trying to attack her but she attacks him with her bag and then the chocolate bar falls out, she picks it up and shows it to the camera and says our slogan “No more Monster” and then eats the chocolate bar. Then we will show the product and a text saying “A bar a day keeps the monsters away.” 
Our target market is for the audience is of 12 year old and over and for people who like horror stuff and in our advert there are two actors, the monster and a woman. 
We are going to have dramatic and suspenseful music which will intrigue our target audience and the video effect will be in black and white which will give it a horror theme to the advertisement. Our advert is going to be 30 seconds long.

This advert is freaky because the eyebrows keep on moving up and down.
There is  non digetic sound - sound in the background and digetic sound- the squeak of the balloon. This video inspires me to make an advert that may have body popping in the video.

This advert is freaky because of the ghost girl and how the lights are flickering there is digetic sound- elevator noise - the shoes on the floor, the sound of the keys ,and the car door slamming  and the woman screaming. There is also non digetic sound- the suspenseful music  and the child speaking. There is mid shots and close ups.

This inspires me to make a advert with ghosts in the video and having dark scenery.

this advert is way to freaky for me because his head is a puzzle and he is spining his head around and around just like a rubix cub. there is digetic sound- the tram railing noise and his headphone music there is non digetic sound- when he unplugs his headphones
